Sya Warfield is an interdisciplinary artist and the creator of Upward Together and The Binaural Beat Podcast. Based in Los Angeles, California with roots in upstate New York, her work blends mindfulness, sound frequency, and mixed media art to inspire transformation, confidence, and calm.
Her artistic journey began while painting a mural as a youth, evolving through photography, cinematography, and street art into a passion for community-driven mixed media creations. With a BA in Sociology and Photography, Sya integrates over a decade of energy healing and meditation/clairvoyant training into her creative practice.
Her art is represented by Art Pic Gallery and E & E CO and has been exhibited at The Other Art Fair, The Beverly Hills Art Show, and The Ontario Museum of History & Art (upcoming). She has exhibited at Miami Art Week, has been featured in SaveArtSpace’s billboard campaign, painted live at the Super Bowl Experience Visa Kiosk, and has had public art commissions across Los Angeles. In Spring 2025, chosen by the Culver City Arts Foundation, her work will be showcased at Helms Design District with Projecting Possibilities.
Sya has overcome burnout, substance overuse, and panic attacks. She prioritizes championing creativity and meditation as healing tools. In 2022, she launched The Binaural Beat Podcast, a top global mental health podcast with over 50k monthly plays that offers frequency-based soundscapes for relaxation and focus.
As the creator of Upward Together (est. 2016), mindfulness-based mixed-media art classes are taught to youth and adults. These programs, often located in schools, have been developed through collaboration with the Arts for Healing and Justice Network, LA County Department of Arts and Culture, and Arts Ed Collective to advance the LA County Regional Blueprint for Arts Education goals.
