These works, created in the summer of 2024 on raw canvas by Sya Warfield, are influenced by the vibrancy of the seasons, specifically summer. Composed of botanical formulations the process leaves no trace of waste. 

This collection includes layers of artisanal teas, coffees, spices, flower petals, and root formulations. Inspired by feelings of peace, with a desire to stimulate the senses, each layer of pigment dries organically while exposed to the sun. Embracing the principles of Taoist philosophy, specifically Wu Wei or effortless action, guides this process.
